
Forceable Thumbs Rules
1. No purchase necessary to enter. 2. Complete the official entry form found on http://www.forceablethumbs.com and submit it. The contest commences on Tuesday, March 26, 2002 and closes at 1:00 p.m. ET on Monday, May 27, 2002. Ballots received after at 1:00 p.m. ET on Monday, May 27, 2002 will not be accepted. 3. There will be fifty (50) prizes to be given to the winning entries drawn from all entrants received consisting of an autographed finger eleven poster. There will be seventy five (75) prizes to be given to the winning entries drawn from all entrants consisting of a "Foldable Ringside Chair" dog-tag necklace. The approximate retail value of each grand prize is $20. 4. All prizes must be accepted as awarded, with no cash substitution, and are non-transferable. Should any of the winners be unable to be contacted within 48 hours of the draw in which his/her name was selected, or upon being so contacted does not claim his/her prize by that time, or does not meet all contest conditions, his/her prize will be automatically forfeited and another eligible entry will be drawn. 5. One hundred and twenty five (125) entries will be drawn from all eligible at 1:00 p.m. ET on May 27, 2002. The draw will be made by a representative of Sony Music Entertainment (Canada) Inc. in Toronto. Sony Music Entertainment (Canada) Inc. will contact all eligible winners by telephone within 48 hours of the draw. 6. All entries become the property of Sony Music Entertainment (Canada) Inc. and will not be returned. 7. In order to win, the selected entrant must first have complied with the rules and have correctly answered a limited skill testing question as part of the ballot and will be required to sign a standard declaration and release form confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the prize as awarded. 8. The contest is open to all residents of Canada, excluding Quebec and excludes all employees (current and retired) of Sony Music Entertainment (Canada) Inc., WWF Entertainment, Canoe.ca, their affiliates and subsidiaries, advertising agencies and their immediate families and those with whom they are domiciled. 9. The decision of the contest judges is final. Chances of winning are solely dependent on the total number of eligible entries received. 10. This contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws. Void where prohibited. 11. By entering the contest, each entrant or his/her parent(s)/legal guardian(s) if under the age of majority agrees to be bound by these rules, and consents to the use of their name, city of residence, image on videotape and/or photograph without payment or compensation, in any publicity or advertising in any medium carried out by Sony Music Entertainment (Canada) Inc. 11. The contest is sponsored by WWF Entertainment, Canoe.ca and Sony Music Entertainment (Canada) Inc. and its affiliates (the "Sponsors"). The Sponsors accept no liability or responsibility for stolen, lost or misdirected entries or in connection with injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising out of this contest or any prize awarded. 12. The right is reserved to terminate or withdraw this contest at any time without prior notice. 13. All times noted are in Eastern Standard Time. 14. No cash or prize substitution is allowed except at the discretion of Sponsor. If a prize cannot be awarded due to actions or circumstances beyond the control of the Sponsors, a substitute prize of equal or greater retail value will be awarded. 15. Decisions of the Sponsors shall be final in all matters relating to this contest. The Sponsors are not in any way liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from computer malfunctions, misdirected or incomplete entries or acceptance and use of the prize. 16. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on such winner's email address, the prize will be awarded to the registered account holder of the email address used for the purpose of such entry.
